FABU – Mechanical Engineering
The Mechanical Engineering division of the Friends and Alumni of the Bergische Universität Wuppertal (FABU-MB) constitutes the interface between students, alumni, the university and industry. Mechanical engineering students, companies, graduates and friends are all eligible to become members of GFBU-MB. Industrial companies in the region hold interesting presentations at the university every semester. Members of FABU, students and guests are all invited to attend. This year, for example, presentations were given by CT Medizintechnik GmbH and the Redi Group.
The annual programme is rounded off by a barbecue organised jointly with the mechanical engineering department at the end of the summer semester. In future, the GFBU-MB will be expanding the range of services it offers alumni. Alumni will then also receive news from their faculty and departments.
