At your graduation, you are officially bid farewell by the university and your school.

In 2018, the central graduation ceremonies will take place on Saturday 10th November 2018 in the Historic City Hall (‘Historische Stadthalle’). Students who graduated in the winter and summer semester will be bidden a fitting farewell in the magnificent halls of the Historic City Hall. The Deans of the faculties will personally present the graduates with their degree certificates as part of a ceremonial programme.

It goes without saying that this includes the obligatory souvenir photo (to be published in the Graduate Yearbook) and a glass of champagne. The daytime programme will be rounded off by an ecumenical service and information stands for our alumni.

The celebrations will then continue at the university ball in the evening! Advance sales of the highly coveted tickets are scheduled to begin on 1 June 2018. Graduates who would like to attend the ball should make sure that they get tickets for their escorts in plenty of time. The number of tickets is limited, and experience has shown that they sell out quickly.
